Across Canada there are laws in place to protect workers on the job. This occupational health and safety legislation outlines three important rights to all workers to ensure they have the knowledge they need to be safe on the job and the freedom to participate in health and safety activities in their workplace. These rights are:

• The right to know what hazards are present in the workplace;
• The right to participate in keeping your workplace healthy and safe; and
• The right to refuse work that you believe to be dangerous to yourself or your co-workers.

Display this poster throughout your workplace so your employees are aware of their rights, and to demonstrate your commitment to their health and safety at work.
